Hanging out
Venice is a wonderful place with old and ancient buildings, but still with everyday living in them. These buildings often lack of gardens and terraces, so where can the washing be hanged out? Ropes are tightened everywhere for this purpose: out of windows, as creative hypotenuses connecting two walls, crossing the famous calli and rii of this famous city. These hangings seem a new kind of art: symmetric, stepped rows, monochromes or brightly coloured wardrobes are there to be admired with your nose in the air.
