The Pescheria in Rialto
The fish market of Venice, the Pescheria, is not a simple market. It is a feast for the eyes, not only for the gluttony. The fishmongers put a deep attention in preparing the fishes first for the display and also for the cooking. Fishes -big and small-, molluscs, crustaceans: you can find a variety of goods all freshly caught mainly in the Adriatic sea and gutted by skilled hands.
